Super friendly and courteous. Super informative about my condition and needs. Would rather have known up front before the process began that the testing person is not an audiologist and therefore my testing would likely not be good enough to have my insurance pay for hearing aids. Would also have rather known up front that my insurance would likely not pay anything toward hearing aids.

Terrible experience as a Deaf person trying to reach them. "We don't have a provider here." Really brusque and weird. I suspect they don't to deal with real deaf people.

I was first there with my Mom and her appointments with Eric Freeman. He treated both of us with respect and was friendly, answered questions so that we understood them and explained things thoroughly. In my own recent hearing test, also with Eric, I received the same excellent care, explanations of my situation, etc. I can highly recommend Empire and Eric!

Am grateful to the doctor (female) who did my hearing test, power cleaned and added 'television ' to my hearing choices, and arranged with Eric to have my hearing aids factory adjusted. As with many services, you don't always know all of the benefits available. The Doc as well as the receptionist informed me that come fall, a number of new hearing aids would become available. Coincides with when my insurance plan allows for replacement hearing aids. Always appreciate knowing.

I recently went and had my hearing tested for free and was shocked to find out how far my hearing loss had progressed over many many years of being in denial and just struggling through everyday things in my life. The staff at Empire Hearing are amazing and I wouldnu2019t trust anyone else with the help I received there. When I got my hearing aids I finally realized just how many sounds I had been missing for years. Birds chirping and carrying on, all the sounds my car makes, conversations that I missed and can hear now, I donu2019t struggle now to hear what my girlfriend has to say or hearing the tv or listening to people on the other end of the phone, door hinges that are squeaking It does take a little time to get used to the sounds that I hadnu2019t heard in a very long time and am adjusting more each and every day. The technology they have now and how I can customize and adjust my hearing aids to the environment Iu2019m in is amazing. My advice is give Empire Hearing a shot, They work hard and are honest and make the process a great and comfortable experience, and if you need extra help with them they will work at it to make them as comfortable and usable and functional as possible Thanks again Empire Hearing for all that you have done for me And a special Thank You to Amber for all that she has done for me and getting me into a recent mission program they hosted, without her compassion and devotion for helping people in need of hearing devices I would still be missing out on all the sounds around me

Conveniently located with ample parking...Empire has been a long time help with the wife's hearing....now i am getting to the age where i will need annual hearing tests....Eric explained everything to me in detail, and i came away well informed and looking forward to me next hearing test.

Eric was so knowledgeable and really cared about my husband's hearing loss. He didn't pressure us into buying hearing aids, but we did buy them there with the help of financing for 1 year. If anyone is experiencing hearing problems, go see Eric on the Vestal parkway next to Dunkin. You'll be happy you did, and your wife will too!

I have been going to a place in Connecticut since my second set of hearing aids when I was a small boy. But it's 3 hours away and I just don't have the time. I do recommend that place though. Quality Hearing out of Brookfield, CT if anyone is wondering. But, like I said I just don't have the time to do all that driving anymore. That said, I found this place. I'm extremely picky with my hearing aids. I've worn them my entire life. I know exactly what I want of them. (Hence why I kept going all the way way back to the same place for nearly 40 years. Frank knows what I want.) So going on to a new place.... New people.... I knew it was gonna be tough. I'm picky. I'm stubborn. I don't like change. I have been wearing in the ear hearing aids since I turned 18. They suggested behind the ear. They do have much more capability for my profound hearing loss. However I work outside. And sweat a lot. But I didn't remember those issues as I was 44 when I came here. 20 something years is a good way to forget those little details. So I willingly tried them. And they did not work for me. I do admit that if i worked in an office be setting I would have kept them. They were nice with awesome features. Like Bluetooth. But the sweat just kept blocking the mics on them. So I went back to the in the ear ones. They tend to have fewer features as they're so much smaller. But after several visits and a repair later (minor issue) I'm pretty much 100% happy with my hearing aids. The folks working here worked with me on several occasions trying to adjust them to my needs. They're Starkey Picasso. They suit my needs the way I want them to. And the staff at Empire are great and extremely helpful. I recommend this place to anyone needing hearing aids.

Even though I didn't initially make any comments regarding my care at Empire Hearing & Audiology, I must say i am well pleased with the care and service and that is why I give Eric and the staff a 5 star rating. I have been dealing with my wife's health situation and as a result have made my wife,. my priority, and did not initially make a comment..

So much to like! Right on the Vestal Parkway with free and easy parking, just use the upper lot just under Weiss if the lower lot is full. Eric and Phyllis make you feel very welcome and they are very helpful. I thought getting hearing aids would be traumatic, but they have actually turned it into a very pleasent and positive experience! My insurance paid big chunk, too!

Over the many years I have been a customer of Eric I have purchased several sets of hearing aids u201ceach an improvement u201c and the last set is the best.For the first time in about 30 years I can hear sounds like my cat purring that I have not heard in many many years. These are the best.

Just as arriving for my appointment about 3 minutes early, another person was taken into an office. Only a few minutes later Adrienne came serviced my first problem, cleaning the hearing aids. After completing the late person. Adrienne solved two other problems, pairing my hearing aids with a relatively new phone and demonstrating the process for cleaning the hearing aids. She also requested the person coming after me if ok to service her a bit late. Did a real balancing act to handle the tardy person and servicing other's coming on time. It was only 9:00am too.

I have needed new hearing aids for about 10 years, but couldn't afford it. Hearing Health helped me through their mission program. I couldn't believe the difference after all these years! They are wonderful people with caring hearts who treat you like family the minute you walk through the door. I would highly recommend these folks for your hearing needs! I was in to see Eric for my 4 month check up. My hearing aids have been out of warranty for 2 years now but he replaced parts that needed replacement and checked my ear canals. This was done free of charge which is part of their great service. Eric is always very thorough and pleasant. Eric and his staff are always ready to help.
