Katie Duff, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Katie Duff earned her clinical Doctorate in Audiology from Syracuse University in 2019 and her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in 2015. She is a New York State licensed audiologist and holds the certification of clinical competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She sees patients at J. Waligora Audiology, an Empire Hearing & Audiology clinic located in East Syracuse, NY.
Diagnosed with hearing loss herself, Dr. Duff strives to provide her patients with individualized and compassionate care in the diagnosis and treatment of a diverse range of auditory disorders. Dr. Duff specializes in utilizing evidence-based best practices in the fitting of hearing aids. She also provides a wide variety of specialty audiologic services including cochlear implants and other surgical solutions, pediatrics, and auditory processing. She is committed to transforming the lives of those with hearing loss. Outside of the clinic, Katie enjoys listening to music (but not too loud!), her rescue dog Piper, and traveling.
Dr. Duff is a member of the Cochlear Provider Network and works with area ENT specialists in ensuring access to surgical hearing solutions when hearing aids are not enough. She also serves as a clinical preceptor for Syracuse University’s AuD program through off-campus rotations at J Waligora Audiology.
